Dubai Charity Auction Raises Over Dh83 Million as DD 5 Plate Fetches Dh35 Million

Dubai's Most Noble Number charity auction, held at the iconic Armani Hotel in Burj Khalifa, has set a new record, raising a staggering Dh83.6 million. The auction, which featured exclusive car plates and fancy mobile numbers, saw the coveted DD 5 car plate sell for a remarkable Dh35 million.
The auction was organized to support the Fathers' Endowment campaign, which aims to fund healthcare projects in underserved communities. The event, timed to coincide with Ramadan, was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and saw an enthusiastic turnout of business tycoons and philanthropists.
The biggest bidder, Muhammad BinGhatti, Chairman of BinGhatti Holding, secured the DD 5 plate for Dh35 million and also won the DD 15 plate for Dh9.2 million, contributing a total of Dh44.2 million—over half of the total amount raised.
The auction also saw 20 mobile numbers bring in over Dh7 million, with du mobile number 0584444444 topping the bids at Dh1.7 million. All proceeds from the auction will go towards supporting healthcare initiatives, marking a significant contribution to both charity and luxury.
