U.S. President Donald Trump has once again raised speculation about seeking a third term in office, suggesting that “there are methods” to make it happen, despite the constitutional prohibition against serving more than two terms.

During a recent interview, Trump stated that many of his supporters want him to continue beyond two terms, though he remained vague about how this could be achieved. While acknowledging the 22nd Amendment, which limits U.S. presidents to two terms, he hinted at possible strategies but did not elaborate further.

In previous public appearances, Trump has joked about serving beyond two terms, often fueling speculation among his supporters. However, this time, he clarified that he is “not joking,” adding that discussions about the future are still premature.

The possibility of altering the 22nd Amendment has been raised by some of Trump’s allies, though any change would require significant legislative hurdles, including approval by two-thirds of both chambers of Congress and ratification by three-fourths of U.S. states.

As the political landscape for the 2028 election takes shape, Trump’s remarks continue to stir debate over term limits and the future of presidential leadership in the United States.
