Kuwaiti Man Arrested for Wife’s Murder, Body Abandoned in Desert

A Kuwaiti man has been taken into custody on suspicion of murdering his wife and leaving her body in a desolate area between Abdali and Mutlaa, security sources confirmed.

The Ministry of Interior reported that officers were dispatched after receiving an alert about the discovery of a woman’s body in the Abdali region. Criminal investigators and forensic specialists arrived promptly to assess the scene.

Preliminary examinations indicated that the victim had suffered violent injuries, leading authorities to suspect foul play. Investigators later identified her husband as the primary suspect, alleging that he lured her to the remote location before fatally running her over with his vehicle and fleeing.

The Public Prosecution has ordered the suspect’s detention on charges of premeditated murder. Legal and forensic teams are now working to piece together the timeline of events, questioning witnesses close to the couple and conducting technical assessments to determine the exact cause of death.
