Saudi Arabia Sets April 13 as Final Entry Date for Umrah Pilgrims

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia has announced that Sunday, April 13, 2025 (15 Shawwal 1446 AH), will be the final date for receiving Umrah pilgrims entering the Kingdom, as part of the country's preparations for the upcoming Hajj season.

According to a statement released by the ministry and reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), all Umrah pilgrims must depart the Kingdom no later than April 29, 2025 (1 Dhul Qa’dah 1446 AH). The ministry stressed that any pilgrim who remains in the country beyond this deadline will be in violation of regulations and will face legal penalties.

The ministry urged all individuals, as well as companies and organizations involved in organizing Umrah trips, to strictly adhere to the departure deadlines. Delays in leaving the country will be considered a violation and subject to fines.

Additionally, the ministry warned that failure by companies to report overstaying pilgrims may result in financial penalties of up to SAR 100,000. Legal action may also be taken against the responsible parties, including individuals and institutions.

This move is part of the Kingdom’s broader efforts to ensure smooth operations during the high-traffic Hajj season and maintain regulatory compliance.
