Dog-slaughtering ring busted in Saudi
Saudi police arrested several Asian expatriates caught slaughtering dogs and skinning them for their hide and intestines to be sold abroad.
Police, responding to a call from a local resident, raided a warehouse near the capital Riyadh and arrested several men caught red-handed.
“Police men found slaughtered dogs in the place…those arrested confessed to be slaughtering stray dogs for their hide and intestines to be exported abroad,” the Arabic language daily Sabq said without identifying those involved.
