ISIS new torture tool for women showing an inch of skin
It's called the biter, the clipper, but no name for this medieval torture instrument exactly explains what it does - rip off flesh.
ISIS officials who deem that women have not completely concealed their body sentence them to a session with the clipper, a veritable nightmare.
It work as a metal jaw with teeth that cut into the flesh.
22-year-old Fatima sees the clipper as a sign of ISIS' increasing brutality in Mosul, an Iraqi city under ISIS invasion.
"The Biter has become a nightmare for us," Fatima told the Independent. "My sister was punished so harshly last month because she had forgotten her gloves and left them at home."
ISIS wants women to "be fully veiled, wear loose or baggy trousers, socks and gloves".
They also need a male relative to accompany them when they step out. Fatima’s sister was punished with the Biter. She quoted her sister as saying that "the biting punishment is more painful than labour pains."
