UAE issues 14 travel advisories
Abu Dhabi : The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has issued an advisory warning citizens against travelling to 14 countries to ensure their safety.
The ministry urged Emirati nationals overseas to register in the Tawajudi (My Presence) which is a service provided to citizens while abroad, to facilitate communication.
The travel advisory concerns Lebanon (security situation), Tanzania (Ebola outbreak), Liberia (Health emergency due to Ebola virus), Yemen (security situation), South Sudan (security situation), Afghanistan (security situation), Somalia (security situation), Sierra Leone (Ebobla virus), Ukraine (security situation), Pakistan (security situation in Karachi), Syria (security situation), Nigeria (security situation in Northern Nigeria), Iraq (security situation), Libya (security situation).
