Three Indian students die in Sharjah accident
Sharjah: Three Indian students died in an accident near Al Madam here on Friday night.
The deceased have been identified as Ashmid Ashraf (19), Shifam Musthafa (19) and Mohamed Sunoon (19), all from the south indian state of Kerala.
The students of Middlesex University in Dubai were returning after visiting a friend's home in Al Madam when the accident happened. The three teenagers died on the spot. Two of their classmates who were also in the car have sustained injuries in the accident and are being treated at a hospital.
Ashmid's father Ashraf who runs a restaurant in Dubai along with his wife Hajara and their five other children were on vacation in Kerala. Ashmid had returned to Sharjah a week ago for his exams.
Ashmid and Mohammed are from Kozhikode and Shifam from Kannur.
