Man caught on camera peeing in Rice Krispies plant

Memphis: A disturbing video has surfaced showing a man urinating in the food production line at a Kellogg's facility where Rice Krispies and other products are made.

The graphic video surfaced on Friday, but the incident allegedly happened two years ago at a Kellogg's plant in Memphis, local CBS station WREG reported.

At the time, the company and its employees were locked in a bitter labor dispute.

The man in the video has not yet been publicly identified.

"We're outraged & disgusted," the company said repeatedly on Twitter in response to people who've seen the video. "Internal and criminal investigations are underway. We'll post more info as it's available."

The company has also been responding to people on Facebook, saying it intends to "prosecute to the full extent of the law."

WREG said the FDA is looking into the matter.

Kellogg's said that the potentially contaminated products include Rice Krispies, Rice Krispie Treats, granola clusters and other "puffed rice" products. However, because of the time that's lapsed since the incident, the items would all be past their expiration dates.

In other words, they could have been purchased and eaten long ago.
