Jordan recalls envoy from ‘interfering’ Iran
Amman: Jordan has recalled its ambassador to Iran for consultations, suggesting the decision is linked to continued tensions between Tehran and Saudi Arabia.
Government spokesman Mohammed Momani said on Monday that Jordan took the step because of what he described as Iran’s interference in the “internal affairs of neighboring countries, especially Gulf states.”
