Huge fire breaks out at Al-Shadadiya University
Kuwait: A huge fire broke out at in building under construction at Al-Shadadiya University.
No casualties were reported.
Civil Defence firefighting units strove to put out the blaze at the college of humanities at Sabah Al-Salim University Town Al-Shadadiya.
General Fire Service Directorate Public Relations and Media director Colonel Khalil Al-Amir said that the blaze spread over 8,000 square metres and gutted a huge quantity of wood in the cellar, reported local Arabic daily Al-Qabas.
Security authorities launched an inquiry to ascertain the cause of fire.
