Man jailed for hurting brother with screwdriver
Dubai: An Emirati, who attacked his elder brother with a screwdriver after threatening him from entering his room while he was drinking alcohol, was sentenced to three months in jail.
On January 30, the victim was at home when another brother told him that their the accused is consuming alcohol and creating a mess in the house.
“I went upstairs to KI’s room and stood at the door looking at him. He asked me not to interfere in his affairs and not to enter his room. He pulled out a screwdriver and waved it while threatening me and stepping towards me. I pulled back but he continued threatening to hit me and hurt my eyes,” said the victim.
