Man run over by ambulance in Sharjah
Sharjah: An ambulance rushing an Emirati man to hospital after he was injured in a road accident in Sharjah emirate ran over an Asian man while he was crossing the road, killing him instantly, a newspaper reported on Monday.
The ambulance was rushing an Emirati driver, who was involved in an accident with a truck in Al Madam area, and had suffered medium injuries.
The Asian was crossing the road between Al Madam and Dubai when he was hit by the ambulance, the Arabic language daily Emarat Al Youm said.
“The Asian died on the spot…another ambulance came and took the Emirati to hospital,” the paper said.
