Valeria finds ‘living doll,’ comparison insulting
Kiev
Valeria Lukyanova has become famous all around the world for being a living barbie.
And with her surreal doll-like eyes, impossibly tiny waist and huge boobs, it's easy to see why people make the comparison.
But the leggy blonde, who was recently slammed inline for having flat bum says she hates being referred to as a living doll.
In a recent interview, Valeria revealed that she finds the comparison 'degrading and insulting.'
The 29-year-old, who also caused uproar by saying she lives on "air and light", went on to explain that she finds it particularly offensive because it suggests she is deliberately attempting to emulate someone else.
"I think it's even a little degrading and insulting, but I'm used to it now, since that's what my work demands and this is precisely the image most fans request," she said.
Valeria, who insists her looks entirely natural except for her over-inflated breasts, says she has learnt to accept it.
"I comply with it because it's become part of my aesthetic image, but I don't like it," she said.
"I don't want people to try to copy someone and that's why I don't like when people think I am imitating a doll; it's degrading."
"I believe that every person should be himself. He can be inspired by someone but not just copy another person. That's degrading," she added.
The Ukrainian model had fans drooling over her recently when she flaunted her impossible proportions in skimpy hot pants and denim bralet.
But while some social media users praised her slimline physique, others suggested she needed to pile on a few pounds.
Fan Marina Voron, 27, gushed on social networks: "I don’t have enough words. I look at you and I understand that you are the most beautiful woman in the whole world."
