4 pilgrims dead in bus accident in Saudi
Jeddah: Four Umrah pilgrims died and 45 others were injured on Friday when a bus transporting them to Madinah figured in an accident, the health department in Madinah said.
Department spokesperson Fouad Daqal said emergency departments of hospitals in the holy received since Friday morning injured pilgrims of different nationalities.
“All injured pilgrims have been transferred from the site of the accident along Madinah Highway by the Saudi Red Crescent and the Crisis and Emergency Management of Madinah Health Department, Daqal said.
The bus was transporting the pilgrims from Makkah to Madinah. Details about the accident were not immediately available.
