Qatar's caring for workers praised
Doha : Prime Minister of the friendly Republic of India Narendra Modi visited tonight the medical Labour camp where he met the Indian workforce within the Msheireb Downtown Doha, at the outset of his visit to Qatar, which began today.
Addressing the workers, the Indian Premier praised the efforts of the State of Qatar to provide the necessary medical care to workers in general, and Indian workers in particular, pointing out that Indian labor in the State of Qatar reflect the excellent relations between India and Qatar.
He greeted workers who are seeking to provide a decent life for their families in the homeland and their dedicated efforts contributing to the renaissance of the State of Qatar and the construction effort .
The Indian Premier cited HH the Emir Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani's praise of Indian workers' commitment and discipline at work, during the recent visit of HH the Emir to India.
The Prime Minister said that he is personally ready to receive any complaints or proposals relating to the workers, and work to resolve them in coordination with the officials, through e-mail or other the mail application for mobile phones which have been launched for this purpose." The Indian Premier was accompanied during the visit by Minister of Public Health Dr. Hanan Al Kuwari.
He was briefed on services provided by the camp including tests for diabetes, blood pressure and cholesterol, in addition to a well-equipped pharmacy with all kinds of medicines. The camp also included instructors of yoga and doctors of nutrition.
