Arab woman hit by car while crossing
Ras Al Khiamah: An Arab woman was seriously injured in a run-over accident while crossing the road in Ras Al Khiamah.
The woman was reportedly hit at the road not allocated for pedestrian crossing, Emarat Al Youm reported.
The police report said that the driver was surprised to see the woman suddenly on the road. The driver tried to steer the vehicle away from hitting the woman but couldn’t and the vehicle rammed in her, resulting in serious injuries.
Police referred the case to the competent authority to complete the necessary legal procedure.
