Saudi warns against illegal fundraising
Riyadh : The Interior Ministry warned against fundraising without regulations, including a regulation on combating terrorism and financing terror.
In a statement to Saudi Press agency (SPA), a ministry spokesman said that any person or entity - institutions and companies – will be held accountable in case of illegal fundraising.
The statement warned citizens and expatriates against dealing with these campaigns, calling upon them to offer donations instead to King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid and the Saudi National Campaign to Support Brothers in Syria or the national charities authorized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Endowments and the Ministry of Labor and National Development.
