Asian couple abducted, assaulted in Oman
Muscat: Police arrested an Omani national and two Asian expatriates for kidnapping and assaulting an Asian couple, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) reported on Wednesday.
An official ROP source said the accused had kidnapped the woman and her husband from their house in the wilayat of Shinas late at night. After assaulting the couple, the criminals took them to the wilayat of Sohar and dropped the husband on the road, while taking his wife to Falaj Al Ouha area before raping her.
