India-bound flight makes emergency landing in Kuwait
Kuwait: An Iraqi Airways plane on Sunday night made an emergency landing at Kuwait International Airport.
The Boeing 767 plane was heading from Iraq to India with 230 passengers aboard when one of its engines broke down forcing the pilot to request an emergency landing in Kuwait City, reported local Arabic daily Al-Qabas.
The Iraqi Airways Company later issued a statement announcing that it would dispatch an Airbus 321 to enable passengers to continue their flight to India.
