Drug dealer gets life sentence in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi : An Abu Dhabi court sentenced a drug dealer to life in prison after he was convicted of trying to smuggle six kg of cocaine inside cosmetics items.
Police arrested the man in the transit lounge at Abu Dhabi airport after suspecting he was carrying illegal items.
After searching the man, who arrived from Latin America, police found nearly 6kg of pure cocaine hidden expertly inside cosmetics items in his baggage, 'Al Bayan' daily said.
