Saudi king reaffirms solidarity with Egypt

Riyadh : Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has telephoned Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, expressing his sincere condolences to the president and the Egyptian people on the victims of terrorist acts in the cities of Tanta and Alexandria. 

The king consoled the families of the victims and wished the injured speedy recovery, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed the kingdom's strong condemnation of this criminal and sinful act of terrorism, which is contrary to the values of the Islamic religion and the principles of humanity and morality.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques reaffirmed the kingdom's stand with Egypt in all its capacities and provision of the necessary assistance in combating terrorist acts and drying up their sources.

For his part, the Egyptian president expressed thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his noble feelings and for his great support for Egypt and appreciation of the Kingdom's honourable stances towards the interests of Muslims and the region, SPA reported.
