‘Maleficent 2’ sequel underway, Fanning and Jolie reunite
Angelina Jolie, who played the villain Maleficent in the 2014 fantasy action film ‘Maleficent’, is back with its sequel, the production of which has officially started in London. Joining her on set is her co-star, 20-year-old Elle Fanning, who stars as Princess Aurora in the live-action adaptation.
On Tuesday, the two actresses took to social media, where they put up a photo and captioned it, “It's bring your mom to work day on the #Maleficent2 set!!!!!” (sic)
In the picture, Angelina is dressed as a character, wearing horns and a red lipstick. We hear that the actress has been joined by her six kids — Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara 13, Shiloh, 12, and nine-year-old twins Knox and Vivenne — during the shoot.
Jolie was last seen alongside ex-husband Brad Pitt in 2015’s ‘By The Sea’, she also stepped behind the camera to direct ‘First They Killed My Father’, last year.
