Passenger flow unaffected by Nipah Virus reveals Air India

 

Passenger flow to and from Kerala has remained constant despite an outbreak of Nipah Virus (NiV) infection revealed by Air India.

Since its outbreak in a city situated in Kerala known as Kozhikode, the virus which is reported to be contagious has claimed the lives 16 individuals and a vaccine is yet to be developed.

Despite reports of drastic drops in passenger flow from and to Kerala, airline authorities from Air India have denied the rumours.

Tribune spoke with the Country Manager for Air India, Kishore Joshi who denied the claims regarding the drop in passenger flow.

“There isn’t any irregularity in passenger flow to and from Kerala,” revealed Kishore Joshi.
