Female bodybuilder Darya Nesterova performed the stunt at the Kenidlifest Festival in Kazakhstan’s biggest city of Almaty.
She said she had only turned up at the festival with some fellow members of the local Sports League for a workout. But she said a bodybuilding pal, who she named only as Lesha, talked her into taking on the challenge.
Nesterova was attached to the front of the tram by a special harness and pulled herself forward on a rope to get the heavy tram moving. Lesha and a crowd of onlookers can be heard shouting their support as she strained her muscles to move the heavy vehicle at Almaty’s DEPO Evolution Park.
