Brosnan wants Hardy to be next James Bond
Daniel Craig is set to play James Bond for one last time in 2019. However, his predecessor Pierce Brosnan has already identified a successor to take the Bond franchise ahead.
He feels that Tom Hardy should play the British spy as he believes the British actor can ‘put a bit of wiggle’ into the role.
Brosnan, himself, lent a suave charm to the character during his four-film tenure as Bond. He was then succeeded by Craig.
Praising Craig, Brosnan reportedly called him an ‘incredible Bond’ and ‘a lethal’ one at that.
“You genuinely believe this is someone who could kill a man,” he said. Brosnan said that he “would be happy” to see Hardy play the role of the undercover agent.
