Senegal’s Idrissa Gueye ‘sleeps on the job’, destroys Senegal Round 16 dream
Senegal has been eliminated from the World Cup in the group stage with its 1-0 loss to Colombia on. Colombia’s only goal came in at the 74th minute in a corner kick cross followed by a header from Yerry Mina.
It’s a gorgeous shot -- but something looked stagnant among all the commotion. Senegal’s Idrissa Gueye, leaning on the goal post, had so much chill he probably could’ve started an early Russian winter.
Twitter, of course, took note of his “defensive tactics.” Senegal was eliminated because of this goal, and there isn’t even the slightest bit of panic on Gueye’s face as the ball flies by him.
