Houthi missile intercepted
Iranian regime’s continued assistance to Houthis is in clear defiance of UN resolution 2216
The Saudi Air Defence Forces intercepted a ballistic missile launched by Houthi militia towards Najran, Spokesman for the Arab coalition, Col. Turki Al Malki confirmed yesterday.
Col Al Maliki said that the missile was deliberately launched to target civilian and populated areas. The Saudi Royal Air Defence Force succeeded in intercepting and destroying the missile, he said.
The spokesman said that the Iranian regime’s continued assistance to the Houthis is in clear and explicit defiance of UN resolution 2216 and resolution 2231 aimed at threatening the security of Saudi Arabia and threatening regional security.
