Sporting lifts Marina FC Champions Cup
Sporting FC emerged winners 2nd Marina FC Champions Cup by defeating 2-0 Al Kerlawi FC in the finals held at Al Ethihad Club, Zinj. The goals in the finals were scored by Lesten and Presly Pinto.
In the first semi finals FC Kerala was upset 0-1 by Al Kerlawi FC while second semifinals saw Sporting FC secure a 3-0 win over Showstoppers FC. Dylan of Sporting FC emerged as top scorer of the 7 a side football tournament with 4 goals while Godfrey won the Best player of the tournament.
