Baloch Club triumph in Indian Club fiesta
Baloch Club lifted NHSC 5-a-side Football Championship outplaying Riffa Ford Challengers 4-1 in the finals played last night. Earlier in the semis, Shabab Al Busaiteen went down to Ford Riffa 1-4 while in the other semi final Baloch Club took down Wadha Club 3-0. In the Under14 Football category, Al Zad defeated Indian School – B 3-2 in penalties after both teams locked in a goalless battle. In the semis, Al Zad took down Titans FC 2-1 in penalties.
In the hockey finals, Hungry Hamours emerged Champions in the 6-a-side taking down Old Monks 2-1 in extra time. During the full time, both the teams were deadlocked at 1-1. Earlier in the semis Hungry Hamours took down Young Stars 1-0, the all-important goal coming off Sanu’s stick and Old Monks downed Ministry of Interior 1-0 thanks to the goal from Avalon Martins
