Jennifer Aniston isn’t worried about turning 50

While most women dread the thought of turning 50, Jennifer Aniston is an exception to the rule. Hollywood’s sweetheart will mark a half century since her birth on February 11, and the former Friends star has been vocal about how much she’s looking forward to it. In an interview with US Weekly, Jen said: “I don’t think life stops after 50 - if anything, it gets more and more exciting.”

The A-list actress went on to say she dislikes the way aging is discussed, particularly in the entertainment industry, and believes we should celebrate the process with honour and respect. After cementing her name in the Hollywood hall of fame as Rachel Green on Friends, Jen went from professional strength to strength appearing in hit movies including Horrible Bosses, The Bounty Hunter, Bruce Almighty and We’re the Millers. Her recent project, the Netflix feature film Dumplin’, will be followed by a further two Netflix movies as well as a 10-part TV comedy with Reese Witherspoon and Steve Carrell.

According to Forbes, the Los Angeles native is worth an estimated $200 million and has consistently ranked on the list of 100 Most Powerful Actresses in Hollywood for the past decade. But despite her incredible success, movie star looks and flawless physique, life hasn’t always been straight forward for Jennifer. The California girl has endured her fair share of heartache and personal sadness in the sharp glare of the public eye, trials which started with her very public divorce from Brad Pitt in 2005.

A decade later the world wished Jen-An well on her relationship with Justin Theroux but their seemingly happily ever after crumbled in another divorce in 2017. Jennifer has spoken candidly about her romance woes, slamming the media for repeatedly shaming her single status.
