Badla: A revenge thriller that keeps you on tenterhooks

Badla (transl. Revenge) is an upcoming Indian Hindi crime thriller film starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu. The film is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment in association with Azure Entertainment. It is slated to release on 8 March 2019.The movie is an official adaptation of the 2017 Spanish movie Contratiempo The Invisible Guest. Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu-starrer Badla is set to hit the screens and honestly, we can’t contain our excitement to watch this edge-of-the-seat thriller on the silver screen.

While we still have to wait for a few hours to watch the film in cinema halls, some Bollywood celebs were lucky enough to catch the movie yesterday in a special screening and as expected, they came out praising the performances of the lead cast along with the gripping direction of filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh. Well, with these kind of praises raining down, we are sure that this thriller will take a good start at the box office.

Badla is the official adaptation of the Spanish film The Invisible Guest and is directed by Sujoy Ghosh, who previously helmed films like the Kahaani franchise, Jhankar Beats and Aladin. The murder mystery is widely shot in Scotland and also stars Manav Kaul and Amrita Singh in pivotal roles. It is produced by Shah Rukh Khan under his banner Red Chillies Entertainment along with Azure Entertainment.
