UAE announces Eid Al-Fitr Holidays
A circular issued by the Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation revealed a seven day holiday for the public sector on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.
Commencing on Monday June 2nd, the holiday is set to last till June 7th stipulates the circular.
Previously, the UAE Cabinet announced in March that the same number of holidays will be granted to the Public and Private sector.
However, Public Sector employees will enjoy at least one extra day off this Eid as their holidays will start on June 2nd and work will resume on June 9th.
