3,354 receive UAE citizenship
According to the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, 3,354 children of Emirati women were granted citizenship on Monday.
All 3,354 applications received were reviewed by the Federal Authorities and granted citizenship upon meeting the citizenship application requirements in accordance with legal provisions.
In the official statement, Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship mentioned that all the procedures were completed following the directives of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the continued monitoring by Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
This latest achievement is as a result of the UAE President's directives to fast-track efforts to ensure that all necessary procedures to grant citizenship to eligible persons are completed, ensuring their inclusion in the UAE social fabric, the Authority concluded.
