Video Footage: Saudi national arrested for endangering public with a machine gun
A Saudi teenager has been arrested after endangering the public by firing a machine gun in front of a residence.
Footage shows the young man casually strolling on the street and firing a machine gun in the presence of surrounding public.
The individuals present at the scene are seen scurrying away from the gun bearing threat.
Saudi attorney general Sheikh Saud Bin Abdullah Al-Mua’jab stated than arrest has been made and the Public Prosecution has charged the teenager with illegal use of unlicensed weapons.
The Public Prosecution stressed the prohibition of using weapons for any reason other than authorized purposes, adding that it is an offence punishable by more than 18 months of imprisonment along with a 6,000 Riyal fine.
