Video Footage: Nine month old raped and murdered
A nine month old girl was raped by a drunken man resulting in her death in city of Warangal in the Indian state of Telangana.
Video footage of the parents mouring their child has gone viral.
The 25 year old man kidnapped the child while she was sleeping with her parents on the terrace on their residence.
Upon learning of her disappearance, her parents began a frantic search for their baby girl.
The managed to find her while the man was sexually assaulting her.
The parents alerted the authorities and the little girl was rushed to the nearest hospital where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
While the accused is being sent to judicial remand, the deceased body has been shifted to a government hospital for post-mortem.
A case has been registered under IPC sections of 376 and 366 and 5 r/w 6 of POCSO Act. Further investigation is underway
