Two people dead in Saudi building collapse
At least two people were killed and 13 others injured when the roof of a parking area at Al Maarefa University in Riyadh collapsed on Tuesday.
The accident occurred at 13:18 local time, Representative of Riyadh's Civil Defense Directorate Mohammad Al-Hammadi told Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
He added that the rescue and search teams rushed to the site of the incident, and took measures to ensure the safety of people, noting that the rescuers began searching for people under rubble. Ten of the wounded were treated, while the remaining cases are still receiving medicine, he pointed out.
Search operations are underway in the whole site to make sure that there are no other people under rubble, he pointed out.
