The couple who loved each other for more than 20 years decided to get married when they reunited at the old age home. Lakshmi Ammal from Thrissur has has been an inmate of the old age home for more than two years and Irinjalakkuda native Kochaniyan arrived here about two months ago.
This is the first wedding held in an old age home in Kerala.
Lakshmi Ammal had a mehendi ceremony on Friday ahead of the wedding. On her wedding day, she looked beautiful in a red silk saree. Kochaniyan shaved off his beard to don the look of the groom.
