New Cases Drop in China

China announced today a slight decrease in new cases of coronavirus, by monitoring 119 new cases, and comparing it with 125 the previous day.
The Chinese authorities stated that 38 people died from Covid-19 disease, bringing the total number of deaths on the Chinese mainland to 29,811
. Wuhan, the epicenter of the outbreak that first appeared last December, also had 114 new cases and 31 deaths. .
Beijing also announced the recovery of 1,859 patients in the city and their discharge from hospitals, where they were subjected to quarantine for two weeks.
Health authorities in Hubei Province said they plan to close some field hospitals that have been set up in the past weeks to treat large numbers of patients, as the number of people recovering increases compared to the new cases.
