Kuwait Health: We have not reported any new cases of corona in the last 24 hours

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today that it has not recorded any new infection with the newly created Corona virus (Covid-19) in the last 24 hours.

Dr. Buthaina Al-Mudhaf, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health Assistant for Public Health Affairs and Assistant Undersecretary for Supportive Medical Services said at the eighth press conference that the medical team supervises and follows up two cases of Kuwaiti women in the seventh decade who suffer from chronic diseases and entered into intensive care, one of them is stable and the second is critical.

She added that there is a case that has ended in the application of the quarantine, and I went out yesterday from the quarry of Al-Khiran Park because there were no symptoms.

She pointed out that the ministry is taking precautionary measures for arrivals from all countries, pointing out that it will apply these measures to those coming from Syria, India, Bangladesh and the Philippines, in addition to China, Sri Lanka, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Lebanon.

She said that (Health) monitors the situation in general in the world and determines the need for more precautionary measures that it will announce at the time, stressing adherence to all preventive measures.

Dr. Al-Mudhaf stressed the important role that society plays in containing the disease through following health procedures and adhering to the measures announced by the Ministry, such as adherence to home quarantine and avoiding rumors and travel.
