15 new cases of coronavirus in the UAE

The Ministry of Health and Community Protection, in the United Arab Emirates, announced today that it has monitored 15 new cases infected with the emerging coronavirus known as COVID-19, bringing the number of diagnosed cases to 45.

The Emirates News Agency (WAM) quoted a statement of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection in which it also confirmed the recovery of two new cases of people infected with the newly created Coronavirus (COVID-19) who were receiving medical care in state hospitals of Chinese nationality, one of whom was 38 years old and the second of a child who had Age 10, and thus the Ministry announces the completion of the recovery of the first family diagnosed with the virus in the country, for a total of 7 recovered cases.

In detail, the ministry stated that it had detected 13 new cases of the virus through early reporting due to different nationalities, including one from Thailand, China, Morocco, India, two people from Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia, Iran, and three people from the Emirates, all coming from abroad, to Two injuries from the UAE and Egypt were monitored through active and continuous investigation, which were identified by examining those involved in the injuries that were previously announced in the Emirates Tour.

Also, 5 cases were confined to confirmed cases within the active investigation program, and all preventive measures were taken for medical isolation to prevent the transmission of infection and to start specialized examination procedures to ensure that they are free of the disease and to ensure community safety.
