The Sistina Church, the grand church of the Pontifical Palace, is one of the largest religious destinations in the world.
 
The Pope had performed the traditional evangelical prayer today, at a distance from the worshipers, as the prayer was transmitted via video screens in St. Peter's Square, and it has been customary for the Pope to appear in this prayer from the window of the Apostolic Palace, and under the new circumstances, the Pope appeared in today's prayer For a short time, he said, at the beginning of the mass broadcast, jokingly: “A little strange, this evangelization prayer with the Pope in the cage.”
 
And the Pope added: "We celebrate the Angelus prayer in this way, following the sanitary measures."
 
The Vatican announced that it would be satisfied with transporting the morning masses of the Pope through the video, and advised to avoid gatherings in drinking coffee and riding elevators.
 
It is reported that the Vatican has recorded one confirmed case so far.
 
Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte confirmed the closure of other regions in northern Italy, as well as all museums and tourist attractions in the country.
