UNICEF refuse on false claim
UNICEF officials refuted the claim that they released the guidelines about an advisory about the novel coronavirus, COVID-19 which has been shared repeatedly in multiple posts on Facebook and WhatsAp.
Charlotte Petri Gornitzka, UNICEF’s Deputy Executive Director for Partnerships said that, “A recent erroneous online message circulating in several languages around the world and purporting to be a UNICEF communication appears to indicate, among other things, that avoiding ice cream and other cold foods can help prevent the onset of the disease. This is wholly untrue,”
