Dubai closes parks, cinema and fitness clubs due to Corona

The Dubai Government’s media office said that the emirate’s Department of Economic Development has requested all cinemas, amusement parks, recreational and electronic games halls, bodybuilding halls, fitness clubs and spring camps licensed in the emirate to stop providing their services immediately from today, Sunday to the end of March.
Yesterday, the Department of Tourism and Trade Promotion in Dubai instructed to postpone all activities scheduled for this month of March, until the end of the month, including all leisure destination activities.
And the Department of Hotel Establishments and Wedding Venues in the emirate issued a decision banning the holding of weddings, from Sunday, March 15 until the end of the month, according to local newspapers.
A statement issued by the Dubai Media Office said yesterday that the emirate decided to temporarily close the amusement parks in Motiongate Dubai, Legoland Dubai, Legoland Waterpark Dubai and Bollywood Parks Dubai until the end of March.
