Egypt decides to extend the night curfew until April 23
The Egyptian government decided, during a press conference of the Egyptian Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, to extend the night curfew until April 23, as part of the measures taken to prevent Coronavirus.
Mustafa Madbouly said: “The government holds meetings around the clock to follow the state’s efforts to confront Corona, explaining that the government salutes all state agencies and health teams that represent the first line of defence to confront Corona.”
He added: "The armed forces are using this service to protect the country from the dangers that threaten it at home and abroad, and all the organs of the armed forces, which is a message of reassurance. We have a strong base and infrastructure, stressing that Egypt is still within the safe borders to control Corona."
The extension of the curfew in Egypt comes after it was announced for a period of two weeks on March 24, to ban the movement of citizens on all public roads from seven in the evening to six in the morning to face the crisis of the Coronavirus.
