Gulf Air appoints Bahraini Mohammed Al-Hamr to run Kuwait terminal
Gulf Air the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain - has announced the appointment of Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Hamar as a regional manager for its station in Kuwait, after he spent 15 months as the regional manager for Colombo and Male stations in the Maldives, in the Asia-Pacific region. Mr. Al-Hamar will represent Gulf Air in the State of Kuwait, after his experience in the commercial planning department at the Gulf Air headquarters in Bahrain, and the training courses he received to follow his role in the overseas stations. Gulf Air has been serving Kuwait City since 1959, and it is one of Gulf Air's primary terminals in the GCC.
Mr. Al Hamar will face the challenge of promoting the growth of Gulf Air in Kuwait by utilizing the experience he gained while working for more than two years in the destination planning department as a network observer and revenue analyst and more than one year as a regional manager for Colombo and Mali stations. Prior to joining Gulf Air, Mr. Al-Hamer worked with two airlines for six years in the United Arab Emirates and the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia as an account manager, in addition to the position of an auditor to improve financial returns in Bahrain.
