UAE decides to resume issuing entry permits to the country

The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship in the UAE announced the resumption of work on issuing various visas, with the exception of work permits, starting today, Thursday.
The Emirates News Agency (WAM) quoted the authority as saying that the resumption of entry permits comes within the framework of easing restrictions and strengthening the state's efforts towards supporting recovery plans and the wheel of growth in conjunction with enabling the work system based on achieving a vital balance between preventive measures and measures on the one hand, and the return of the tourist and economic environment. And various developmental aspects on the other hand.
The authority indicated that the decision is in response to the current data represented in the package of precautionary measures and travel mechanisms taken by the air transport sector, in addition to applying various practices aimed at limiting the consequences of the outbreak of the Coronavirus.
It is noteworthy that, last March, the UAE issued a decision to temporarily suspend the issuance of all visas, with the exception of holders of diplomatic passports.
