The latest data available on the Johns Hopkins University website showed that the total number of injuries reached 31 million, 867 thousand and 173 cases, and the number of deaths reached 976 thousand and 258 cases.
The United States leads the world in terms of the number of cases, followed by India, Brazil, Russia, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Spain, South Africa, Argentina, France, Chile, the United Kingdom and Bangladesh.
