Apple likely to launch next iPhone
Apple has sent out an invite to a special Apple event on October 13 likely for the launch of the next iPhone expected to be called iPhone 12.
Hosted from the Apple Park, the event will be streamlined on Apple’s website.
However, no clues on the event are there in the invite, which reads, “Hi-Speed.”
Experts say the title can only mean one thing: 5G.
Likely size of the next iPhone, many expect, will be a mini 5.4” size as well as a full-size one.
The expectation is also that iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro will come in the standard 6.1” size.
Some point out that while all models should get 5G, it is unlikely to be the fastest version of 5G.
Buyers can also expect additions like LiDAR scanners to enhance augmented reality capabilities.
Probably there will be new headphones that should complement AirPods very well, with noise-canceling technology.
The new iPhone probably will have a faster A14 processor and a better refresh rate.
The full line might include iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and iPhone 12 Mini, as Gadgets360 reported.
Tech analyst and tipster Jon Prosser last month tweeted: “Apple’s first shipment of final iPhone 12 units are going out to distributors on October 5. The shipment includes iPhone 12 mini 5.4 (definitely the final marketing name) -64/128/256 iPhone 12 6.1 -64/128/256 Event on October 13, as I mentioned before.”
Indian Express reported that Apple would launch a smaller HomePod smart speaker, new headphones, Apple TV streaming box, and a rumoured location tracking device alongside the phone.
