Scolded for too much WhatsApp, Facebook, wife commits suicide
A 20-year-old lady, committed suicide by hanging herself for reportedly being abused by her husband for spending too much time on WhatsApp and Facebook, according to Times Of India.
Police said that her husband was angry with her for being on the social media platforms for so long and took away her phone, according to reports.
After her husband admonished her, she reportedly took another phone and called her brother to tell him everything that had happened.
Then she locked herself in the room and hanged herself.
By the time Kumar broke open the door, he couldn't save his wife.
Immediately, she was taken to a private hospital but the doctor declared her dead and the body was taken to a government hospital.
Upset over his wife's death, Kumar attempted to commit suicide by jumping from the terrace of the house, but was overpowered by relatives.
